Luke 9:18-20
And it happened
that while He was praying alone, the disciples were with Him, and He
questioned them, saying, "Who do the people say that I am?"
They answered and said, "John the Baptist, and others say Elijah;
but others, that one of the prophets of old has risen again."
And He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" And Peter
answered and said, "The Christ of God."

What To Expect when visiting with the Christians at North
Gwinnett:
We
assert to you that as much is humanly possible we follow the
teaching of the Bible. Let us investigate…
ON SUNDAY
YOU WILL FIND US WORSHIPPING GOD…
SINGING - teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and
hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to
the Lord. (Colossians 3:16)
PRAYING - And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’
doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in
prayers. (Acts 2:42)
OBSERVING THE LORD’S SUPPER - Now on the first day of the week,
when the disciples came together to break bread, (Acts 20:7)
PREACHING AND OR TEACHING (LISTENING TO GOD’S WORD BEING SPOKEN
- Now on the first day of the week … Paul, ready to depart the
next day, spoke to them and continued his message until
midnight. (Acts 20:7) So he lived there for a year and a half
and continued to teach the word of God among them. (Acts 18:11)
GIVING - On the first day of the week let each one of you lay
something aside, storing up as he may prosper (1 Corinthians
16:2)
At other services, you will find us singing, reading God’s word,
praying, and listening to God’s Word being taught. |
